Holly represents GB at Eurogym 2016

Year 9 student, Holly Knowles, has been selected by her gymnastics club, Diamonds TntT, to be part of their display squad in representing Great Britain at  the 10th Eurogym, in the Czech Republic this July.

Eurogym is the largest event of the European Gymnastics Union with 19 European countries taking part.  It has become one of the flagship events of the UEG and the interest in this European Youth Festival does not cease to increase.

The original aim of Eurogym was to allow common experiences in practising physical and cultural activities, to make it possible to make new friends from many different nationalities and to make new experiences in a group of young people sharing the same interests.

Gymnasts will get the opportunity to perform in displays both as a club team and also as part of the British team. the event offers interesting workshops and activities to young gymnasts, based on the values of the culture of movement and common international aspects of gymnastics.

There are displays, stage performances and workshops plus the Eurogym Gala of which the theme for this year is 'World of Illusions in Changing Times'.

We wish Holly the best of luck and hope she has a fabulous experience!
