Sports Relief 2016
All last week we were raising money in school for Sports Relief. There were lots of fundraisers going on throughout the week.In PE the students took part in running a mile to raise money and awareness of the importance of sport.
Everyone had to make a pledge to say what they were running for. Students could donate 50p to run in their own sports clothing or dress in a silly fancy dress outfit - we were very impressed with the banana costume!
In the Library the official Sports Relief wristbands were on sale and a sweepstake to guess Jo Brand's favourite form of exercise. On the day students came dressed in sporty outfits and took part in activities at lunchtime such as a basketball shootout, bun sale, selfie-esteem photo booth and face painting.
We all had lots of fun raising money for Sports Relief and the total donations came to £1892.41. Well done everyone.
